React developer for hire for product apps and marketing sites
I build React 18 front ends on Vite and Tailwind: product apps with role-gated routing and a proper design system, and marketing sites that search engines can read. Recent work includes the OnOffDeals SaaS front end and the PowerSmith Energy website, and because I build the APIs behind them too, the front end and back end are designed together.
- React 18 + Vite + Tailwind apps
- Leaflet deal map with deal grading
- ~15% faster React load times (Trinzz)
A design system instead of one-off screens
For OnOffDeals I hand-built a Tailwind design system with light and dark theming, so every screen is assembled from the same tokens and components instead of being styled one page at a time. New users get driver.js product tours that walk them through the app. A shared system is what lets a product of roughly 20K lines stay consistent with one developer maintaining it.
Role-gated routing and portals
Most real apps show different things to different people. OnOffDeals uses React Router with role-gated app routes on top of Clerk auth. For PowerSmith Energy I built a Rep, Team and Admin sales operations portal with 15 screens, where internal reps and external affiliates sign in with separate token scopes and see only what their role allows.
Maps, exports and data-heavy screens
Some interfaces carry a lot of data. The OnOffDeals deal map is built on Leaflet and grades each deal red, yellow or green, so an investor can scan a market at a glance, and reports export to PDF and Excel. At Podiam AI I unified PDF, DOCX and Markdown export into one reusable React component over a TypeScript layer.
SEO prerendering for single-page apps
A React SPA often ships an almost empty HTML file, which leaves search engines and link previews with little to read. I prerender public pages with their meta tags, Open Graph tags and JSON-LD, as I did for OnOffDeals, and build programmatic SEO pages where a site needs them, as I did for PowerSmith. Speed matters too: at Trinzz I cut React website load times by about 15%.

Frequently asked questions
Do you use Next.js or Vite for React projects?
Both. I worked in Next.js with TypeScript on the Podiam AI production codebase, and used Vite for OnOffDeals and the PowerSmith site. Vite with prerendering suits an app behind a login plus a set of public pages; Next.js suits sites that need server rendering throughout.
Can a React single-page app rank on Google?
It can, as long as crawlers receive real HTML. Prerendering each public route with its title, description, Open Graph tags and JSON-LD gives search engines and social previews the content they need, without rewriting the app in another framework.
Can you work inside our existing React codebase?
Yes. I often drop into inherited code with little or no documentation. I reproduce the issue, isolate it, write up the cause and then fix it, so your team understands the change rather than just receiving it.
How do you charge for React development?
From $20/hour, or a fixed price when the scope is defined, such as a set of screens or a marketing site. You can book a free 30-minute call to walk me through the designs or the codebase first.
